Engaged! Real leaders rise like cream to the top.
What an honor to endorse Phil Goode for Mayor of Prescott.
This man possesses vision, will power, experience, and dedication
to “We the People” and shall be just the public servant Prescott deserves.
In these days of doubt, real leaders are needed more than ever.
Individuals who stand strong in the face of adversity and willingly
put themselves out there for God, Country, Community, and Family.
These are the qualities that few in public service possess because
they are building a resume.
But these are exactly the qualities I love about Phil Goode,
and this is exactly why he has my full support for Mayor of Prescott.
Arizona State LD1 Representative
I have known Mr. Phil Goode for many years as a friend and a big brother. My respect for Mr. Goode goes beyond his official title. We were both in Vietnam at the same time, he as a soldier fighting for our freedom and me being a native, a child who was trying to survive a communist war. That is an unbreakable bond that we shared and will be there for the rest of our lives.
As a city official, Mr. Goode is a thoughtful individual whose main goal is to serve the City of Prescott with sound policy and not cave to special interests. For as long as I’ve known Phil, he has shown me time after time that he is a man of integrity and he will bring integrity to the City Hall as Mayor. I fully endorse my friend and big brother as Mayor of the City of Prescott.

I wholeheartedly endorse Phil Goode for the position of Prescott Mayor. He is honest, effective, and more than qualified for this position. I have known Phil for several years and have been impressed with his leadership and his knowledge of the issues facing the City of Prescott. He will work diligently and always vote in the best interests of the citizens of Prescott, as he has done in his current position as Prescott City Councilman. As the current Yavapai County Supervisor of District 1, I look forward to working with Phil since we both have a passion for conserving our scarce water resources, limiting growth, and boosting economic prosperity. Cooperation and collaboration between the City of Prescott and Yavapai County are essential to ensure a bright future for all our residents, and Phil is the leader to accomplish this.
Yavapai County Supervisor - District 1
I wholly endorse City Councilman Phil Goode for Mayor of Prescott. His unfailing patriotism and willingness to serve his country with the 101st Airborne Division, his commitment to veterans’ issues plus his history of willingness to stand up for what is right on the Prescott City Council help to make him a highly qualified candidate for the position of Mayor. He is a proponent of small government, water resource management and open dialog about important issues affecting the people of Prescott. He stands for controlled growth and does not believe in making public policy behind closed doors! Preservation of our western heritage is high on his list as he supports the special historic nature of the City and its importance to the State of Arizona. Phil shares the foundational pillars of freedom supported by my former boss Ronald Reagan, who also believed in limited government, personal responsibility and traditional values. I believe Phil Goode would make a dynamic and committed mayor. He has my vote!

It’s vital that we vote our values, so I’ll be voting for Phil Goode for Prescott Mayor. Currently, Phil is an effective Prescott City Councilman. His in-depth research on issues pertaining to Prescott is always refreshing and welcomed. I have been privileged to know Phil over the past ten years, where I have negotiated with him in different capacities, primarily, as President of the Republican Women of Prescott, and recently as the Yavapai Republican Executive Committee-Chair. I always appreciated that Phil wasn’t about being seen and being liked, he was about substance, and moral character. Even when he knew the odds were against him, he articulated his position well and voted in the best interest of we the people.
Recently, our town has been targeted by several leftist movements. I remember driving around the town plaza, and noticed Phil Goode, a lone body, standing guard over the Vietnam Memorial. As a Vietnam Veteran, he not only received the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Star Medal and countless others, but continues today in that same vigilance that bestowed on him those medals, to serve and to make a difference. But that day he stood alone to protect and defend all that fought and died in Vietnam, against the cancel culture of today, that continues to destroy America’s history.
So, with the City of Prescott and all the challenges this presents, I know Phil will be an outstanding Mayor. He seeks new ideas and different perspectives, weighs the alternatives, considers possible outcomes and develops reasonable positions. He’s approachable, engaged, and genuinely committed to governing well. Please join me in voting for Phil Goode for Prescott Mayor… after all he is Goode for Prescott!
